“If I had to choose a religion, the sun as the universal giver of life would be my god.”
― Napoleon

Since centuries people have made comparisons of the Sun with a religion or God’s disciples. The sun being one of Almighty’s creations spreading light throughout the planet since the BIG BANG and God’s disciples doing just the same in various forms with various preaching but with solely one aim: To Spread the Divine Light. Each of them spread light which enables us to see clearly and to differentiate the good and bad things.
Religion is like the sun in many ways. Religion rescues us when we have fallen too deep into the devil’s trap. Likewise, the sun keeps us from doing wrong things under its nose. The sun keeps our body warm whereas, religion gives warmth to our soul. Although, you should maintain a good distance from religion, as a common man. Too much could just mess around with your head because you are too delicate to handle it. Just as when you stare right into the burning sun and look around and see black spots everywhere. There is no harm in being spiritual though!
The picture above is taken at a pilgrimage I went to recently. Dargah-e-Hakimi in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. Been to this place several times and its always so peaceful, beautiful and makes your soul feel so much at ease. The white marbles on each tombs are like a tint to all the purity that resides within. The vibes you get around the place are so good that you yearn to come back soon enough! Insha-allah 🙂
